The walls have been always there, in many occasions, to separate and isolate people by keeping them away from the world, unlikely the Wall of Kindness, that bring us closer to our society.

Everyone can leave something on the wall, for those who are going through difficult times and anyone who is in need get what they need without having to ask someone for help.

"If you do not need it let it go, if you need it you can have it" that was the first thought and with the occasion of Street Life Festival in 2017 we had the opportunity to make the first wall in our city,Limassol. In 2018 we renewed the wall which was erased by mistake the day before the festival, but we will make another one with the first chance.

This benefits people near us that need launch for that one day, or they don't have the money to buy at such times a jacket or shoes, we want to give a message of hope and to help our fellow people in direct need. The wall was painted ,we added hangers on which each one can leaves whatever he wants. This also helped people to empty their houses,their closets and not throw away goods or food they could gift.

In Cyprus people have so much food waste and we use to keep things we don’t need, as and to the rest of the world. If we do something about it in our neighborhood the consciousnesses of the people around will automatically change.

Restaurants also,supermarkets and bakeries at the end of the day can use the wall instead of the trash bins.This could benefit people outside Cyprus,same way it benefit Cyprus as now the internet is in our everyday life and there I read about the wall that began from an unknown person in Mashhad, Iran. People around the world can see this idea and make it happen to their neighborhood, area, village and spread it to the world. It would be an inspiration for people to start caring for others near them and give goods they don’t need.

We should begin to realize that this world is more than materialism and by seeing this happen near us will help become more aware.
