-How do you feel by following an artistic direction?

Being an artist is a wonderful career and I am feeling so fortunate by stepping in it.

- What things you think are important in this life. What do you live for?

What I live for? To wake up in the morning, drawing, painting, creating and saying good morning to my dog every day. To fill life with fantasy, to inspire and get inspired. To love the days and nights, the mountains and the sea. Materials are not part of this reality. To respect what makes my body breath healthy and to gratitude every day for the advantages and lessons have been given.

- What is this that you can say inspires you and what image someone would probably see if sneaks in your studio while working?

I am inspired from the world around me, the people, waves of sounds, mother nature, and travel.

For an Illustration I need music, confidence and a cup of tea! This is the time where my hands are under the control of pens, papers, gouaches, watercolours and many other medias.

Images are not stories that can be told in words, for me is more like a personal visual vocabulary.  Every element within the illustration tells a very specific story that can be read on many different levels by the viewer.

What I consider my best work is mostly artworks for which I am granted totally freedom. Illustrations and paintings  that explode in my brain and automatically are attached on a piece on paper, sculptures that are already sculpted in my fantasy and without any brain work or preparation a final piece is already done.

Key elements I use in life to expand creativity are memory, technique and imagination, so I try to keep these things alive in my work and to keep improving.
